So glad there's another traveler on July 11th! I'm going w/ 3 other women - we've done Canada out of NYC, but not on Carnival, but my daughter and SIL were on the Victory a few years ago w/ the same itinerary - loved it. We're all excited and know you'll love the ship.

I just got off the Triumph this morning. We did a "nowhere" cruise. Feel free to ask any questions you might have-

Below is some information on Camp Carnival available on the FAQ's section of the carnival website.

2 - 5 years old

Juniors 6 - 8 years old

Intermediate 9 - 11 years old

Teens 12 - 15 years old

Camp Carnival is not a "Day-Care". The program is designed so that families are able to enjoy "quality family time" together, and yet also have the choice of being with peers of their own age, whenever desired.

The program for children, ages 2-15 Hours on Sea Days: Scheduled activities run from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm. This service is complimentary.

In regard to ages--let's see. I saw ages from infants to an 85, 87, 88 year old ladies on this ship. They were certainly having a good time. I went with my 22 year old daughter, her friend 27 years old and I am 50 and we had a blast. The only negative I can say about this ship is that they need more signs to tell you where you are going. After a few days it will all fall into place --we were on the Panorama deck and had dinner in the Paris dining room and we would have to go down to deck 5 Promade and walk through the casino and then catch the elevators there to the 3 floor to get to the Paris dining room. Food was wonderful and well worth the trip. Staff and crew could not have been friendlier and helpful. Always answering any questions we had. If you have any other questions you may email at Harconley@rivnet.net and just put Triumph in subject box.
