Marseille to Aix

Recommended Posts

Hi Susan, we were in Marseilles in May. We thought about hiring a taxi at the pier, but they wanted around 300 euros for the day. I would take the private tour, or just go to Aix on your own which is very easy to do. We took the Metro to the train station, and from there you can take a bus to Aix for about 5 euros. Good luck.

When we were in Marseilles on a Renaissance cruise we booked 2 tours. A 1/2 day Aix tour and a 1/2 day Marseilles tour. Both were wonderful and we got to see a lot in a short period of time. I knew that Aix would be lovely but I had no idea what an extraoridnary city Marseilles is. So if you have a chance to do both as we did I highly recommend the tours.
