Cabin choice on Russian River cruise

We are considering this cruise 9/2014. Would like to book a veranda, but notice that the less expensive cabins have windows that open. Looking for an opinion on which cabin? Thanks in advance!!

What ship are you booking?

 

I think it will depend on a number of things that might be important to you. How much time will you be spending in your room and will you make use of the veranda sitting balcony. If it's very warm and the a/c is running, will you open the window/sliders? Would you be happy if the less expensive cabins were smaller? You mentioned cost so, and only you can answer this, is price a huge factor? I guess another way to look at it is I haven't heard any people who booked suites and veranda's wish they could move to a smaller room.
