Mrs.C05 Posted May 8, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 8, 2013 I was told by a friend that a carnival rep told her that babies were allowed in the pools (unsure if it's the kiddie pool or not) as long as they had swim diapers on......was she given accurate information? I want to say this is not true for safe hygeine purposes, but would be nice for all of us parents....but I know how unlikely this could be. Anyone been on Carnival recently to say if this is allowed now or not? Just curious since we'll be taking our DS on our cruise in Sept.
Warm Breezes Posted May 8, 2013 #2 Share Posted May 8, 2013 Per Carnival FAQs: Use of the pools : Due to United States Public Health (USPH) Regulations, we do not allow children in diapers, in swimming diapers or those not toilet-trained in the pools. sailinglisa Posted May 9, 2013 #3 Share Posted May 9, 2013 I wish the phone reps would get the right info and dispense it. As Warm Breezes posted above, the answer is NO. swim diapers for infants, toddlers or adults are not allowed.

She even called to double check, and yes, she was given the incorrect information. Geez!!!! I told her to take a blow up pool/duck/etc. for her 1yr old to play in. Prinycesa07 Posted May 13, 2013 #5 Share Posted May 13, 2013 Just got off pride today & nope not allowed. But that doesn't mean that I didn't see multiple swim diapered kids in the big pool everyday :/
