BJane Posted June 19, 2005 #1 Share Posted June 19, 2005 Can any recently returned cruisers tell me what the dress code was? RCI website lists 2 formal, 1 whatever-they-call-it-now, and the rest casual. Was this what is actually was or are there 5 casual nights. Thank you. MadCnty Posted June 20, 2005 #2 Share Posted June 20, 2005 Directly from RCI's website... 7 to 9-night cruises include two formal nights, one smart casual night and four or six casual nights. This was the case on our Serenade sailing, smart casual is more or less another casual night...
Barbee524 Posted June 21, 2005 #3 Share Posted June 21, 2005 There were two formal night on our cruise. We were on the Vision June 3-10. The rest of the nights were casual. I'm not sure if it's because the ship was in Alaska but many people (including me) wore jeans to dinner on the casual nights.
Polish Falcon Posted June 21, 2005 #4 Share Posted June 21, 2005 Just got back from the Serenade 6/12/05 Alaska - There were 2 Formal..... 1 Smart Casual..... and the rest Casual..... Smart Casual means a Sport Coat and Tie for gentlemen and a nice pant suit or skirt outfit for Ladies. If you are planning on Chop's or Portofino's...They also call for Smart Casual.
