Elbow Beach

Does anyone know how far the bus stop is from the public access to Elbow Beach? I read that it's a mile from the bus stop. I am bringing a five-year older and I am sure he won't be able to walk that far.

It isn't a mile. This is what bermuda-attractions. com has written about getting to Elbow Beach, public:

From the bus stop, there is a downhill road (Tribe Road #4) which begins at the sharp bend on South Road. You will need to walk down for about 500 yards to reach the beach. Walking back up to the bus stop can be a little cumbersome for some....
