Re-using the freestyle cups

Hi,

 

We are about to take our 2nd RCC cruise next week. When we were last on FOS 2011 we purchased the soda package and got the freestyle cups.

 

Now I know they have a chip in the bottom of the cups, but can these be reactivated for this cruise? reason being is that I don't particularly want another 2cups in my kitchen and would rather take these 2with us next week.

Uh, why not just get the new cups and throw them away after the cruise?

I would call Royal and ask, but I doubt it. I no longer bring the cups home. It would be nice if they had nicer cups and a chip in your seapass card instead of the cup.
