Pride april 21 to 29 review

Great review!!!:D:D We sailed on the Pride last April, but did the Grand Turk, HMC, and Freeport itinerary. Wasn't a HUGE fan of the decor on the ship, but the itinerary ROCKED!!!! Wouldn't hesistate to go back on her. Thanks for the review, and you have a beautiful family.

Loving your review. I am so leary about this itinerary. You are making me fell a little better about booking it. I still love the HMC,GT route though :D

 

Don't worry about it. I liked it just as much as the HMC, Grand Turk itinerary. And hey your on vacation!

Great review and love the pictures! We are leaving in a few weeks for the Pride and this review has gotten me so excited for our vacation. Anxious to see what you did in Freeport!

It will be crowded. You must go early to claim a spot.

Port days will be your best bet for getting what you want.

So, woke up early enough to see us pulling into Freeport. I was still feeling like crap so I took a quick look and layed back in bed, with my head at the foot of the bed so I could look out the balcony still ! Got into port about 6:30 a.m. My wife and 2 daughters and son caught the van into Port Lucaya after breakfast and my other son and I stayed back. Just didnt have the energy, and this was my third time to this port. My son and I got off the boat around 9 a.m and toured the port area, and bought some things, then about 1030 went to Senor Frogs for an hour or so. The place was hopping. We had a couple of yellow bird drinks and then I had a Pina Colada in their yard cup and it was only 18 dollars for the one drink :eek:.

I will include pics from my wifes day and ours. They ended up getting an hour and a half bannana boat ride for 20 bucks each which they ended up loving. They were also taken to a ship that was in the movie Pirates of the Carribean. They dove off it, then the guide dove in and brought up a starfish for them to hold. He also took them to millionaire row and saw all the mansions that they loved. They said it was well worth it, and they booked it right on the beach by BillyJoes bar.

nice dinner, atrium bar, piano bar and bed.Next day was last sea day where we did the same thing only difference was I was Garth Brooks in the Legends show. So I had to be at rehersal for noon till 1:30. Then I spent some time in casino and laid around the lido deck. Met a nice couple before dinner at the casino bar and had some drinks with them, (enough to get my glow on and courage up for the legend show).

And that was our trip. We closed the piano bar this last night, and we did self disembark so we were off the ship by 830, for our 10 hour drive home. Oh and I had a rocking head ache for half the trip home, but it was worth it. Hope you enjoyed my review. Kevin
