bonni99 Posted May 14, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 14, 2013 Hello- we are due to sail on the Queen Elizabeth this coming Sunday and wondered what the lunch options are when embarking. We are travelling Britannia Club and wondered whether they would offer a separate lunch rather like the PG or QG do? Many thanks!
WillH Posted May 14, 2013 #2 Share Posted May 14, 2013 The Britannia Club restaurant wasn't open on embarkation day last year when we sailed on QM2, so I presume it will be the same on QE. I think on QE the only choice will be the Lido as the Pub is only open on QM2 on embarkation day and not on the other ships. QE is a great ship and you will certainly enjoy the cruise. MeredithFairfax Posted May 14, 2013 #4 Share Posted May 14, 2013 We boarded QE at lunchtime and headed to the Lido. It was really nice - not crowded at all. Not sure if we were just lucky - we were expecting it to be very busy! You will have a fabulous time on board - enjoy your trip.

Sadly, that's now no longer the case - or at least it wasn't on our Westbound TA on 26 April. The only place open for lunch on embarkation day was King's Court.
