Which Silver Moon has more shade?

I can only comment on the II as there was plenty in the centre area for those wishing to be in the shade. Closer to the food and cocktails as well.

My guess would be the I as it is larger.

I have only been on I, and there was lots of shade in the back of the Cat. I would image you can find an ample amount of shade and sun on both Cats, since they do limit the number of people onboard. If you dont plan to snorkel you can always sit around the table and have drinks.
