Sailing on the Conquest 7/03 Question?

Hi! My dh and I are sailing 7/03 and are ready to go. My packet has arrived and we are in cabin 8387 on the Veranda Deck. My question is this - is this cabin guaranteed? Or we just be in any cabin that is similar? We actually only paid for an outside cabin - not a balcony and this one has a balcony so I am hoping that we are put in this one!! I booked through Carnival and had a wonderful experience and very helpful PVP. It has been several years since we have cruised and all of the posts here are so very helpful. Can't wait!! Thanks for the help. :)

If you have a cabin number on your cruise documents, then I'm pretty sure that's the one you will be in. It's rare to get moved after you have already been assigned. Unless it were a handicapped room and someone needed it. Or if it were a room that could accomodate four and you are only two and someone that is four needed it.
