Help! Joyce Prince is booked

I contacted Joyce & Unfortunately she is booked already for when we are in St. Maarten. Any other suggestions. I really didn't want to pay the cost of a ship's excursion, plus deal w/a busload of people. Thanks for your help.

Rent a car from Arthur's car rental and tour the island on your own. Makes for some special memories!!!!!! :cool:

If we want to rent a car for the day is this something that we need to reserve ahead of time or wait until we get in port? Also, is it difficult to navigate or find your way around the island such from the pier area over to Marigot and/or Orient Beach??
