Taking water or sodas on carnival cruise ships

I'm on vacation, its easier for me to have my bottled water.

 

Going to a store before you board, carrying a heavy case of water and storing all that water in your cabin is easier than just filling a sports bottle? Not in my opinion.

If you bring soda on board with you, are you allowed to drink that soda on the lido deck or is that for consumption in your cabin only? Just wondering. Have never carried on soda before but might on my next cruise.

You can enjoy your soda anywhere you wish. My wife carries her Diet Coke into the MDR and asks for a glass of ice.
