UBP Pre-Order

Has anyone purchased the UBP prior to sailing?

 

Ive read they offer it, just wondering if its easier to do it first, or sign up when we arrive?

I am a firm believer is waiting.

 

What if you change your mind between now and then? Have to hassle with getting your money back. Or their system does not show you paid. Another hassle.

Asked NCL about pre- purchasing the UBP and I was told I need to do it onboard as they verify IDs and age.

It's on the web site for pre orders so not a problem. I would wait until I board because I hate to pre pay anything. Don't like giving them my money early. I even wait until the last day for final payment.;)

I ordered it last week for our Dawn cruise tomorrow. I like having as much as possible paid before we leave & don't want to be bothered waiting in line when we board to purchase it.

 

I'm guessing we'll be enjoying our "we're finally here" drink while others are waiting in line to purchase the package............

NCL just started offering it for pre-sale couple of weeks ago. I just bought it onboard. Funny part was, even though I was traveling solo, nobody onboard asked me if there was anyone else in my cabin. The rules say everyone staying in the same cabin or traveling with you has to have it too.

My concern is if you prepay you may have to still stand in the same line to get the sticker on your keycard. That said no real line to purchase onboard as it can be done at any bar at least on the Breakaway.
