ride4806 Posted May 23, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 23, 2013 We are taking our first Hawaiian Cruise-we have cruised often and usually done mid ship balconies, however after doing some research it seems like many folks recommended aft balconies. We booked 9702, however I am now having second thoughts and wondering if anyone has had specific experience with this cabin or at least aft cabins on POA? Any feedback would be much appreciated! We have had 9702 three times last being 1/2012. Love this cabin because it's located between other floor of cabins, it doesn't have an adjoining inside door therefore less chance of noise coming through. So for you 9702 or 9202 would be fine. You also have great views while being docked in the ports. You are also located under the outdoor aloha Cafe on deck 11 which is also where they hold the ports/island talks each morning. Absolutely no noise other than the ocean movement from the wake which is not loud at all in fact we sleep with the balcony door wide open every night. Here is a pic of balcony and cabin
