Internet Service on the Magic

Hi All,

We are sailing the Magic Sunday June 2. I have a few questions about the ship's internet service if anybody knows:

Can you sign up for unlimited service for the week? Do you have to use the ship's computers or does the weekly service offer wireless for laptops, tablets, smart phone, etc...

I used the high speed unlimited package a few weeks ago. It was $135 for the week and allowed access on unlimited devices, but only one at a time. Speeds were consistently in the 2.5 Mbps range. I was able to have FaceTime chats with DH and DS back home, though they did get chopped up in the cabin at times. The "slow" connection plan was $55 for the week, and only on one device outside of the ship's computers.

Wow. They raised the price. You could also buy it by the day if you only wanted a day or 2...

You can still purchase high speed by the day, forgot about that. It was $35/day.

 

None of these rates are prorated. I bought the package on day 2 and still charged the full $135.

We were charged $99 back in November or $29 per day... It was popular, though. I'm sure people will still find $135 a great deal...
