AFAMILY Posted May 28, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 28, 2013 Sorry if this question has been asked and answered before but I did a quick search and didn't find it. Regarding the bottles of wine we carry on board, 1 for each of us, once we bring them to dinner and they have been opened, if any remains, are they then stored by Carnival and brought to our table the next night? Yes they will, but do remember that there is a corkage fee.
AFAMILY Posted May 28, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted May 28, 2013 Thanks. We paid $15 per bottle on NCL prior to boarding. Does it work the same way with Carnival?
big_duck Posted May 28, 2013 #4 Share Posted May 28, 2013 Thanks. We paid $15 per bottle on NCL prior to boarding. Does it work the same way with Carnival? The Corkage fee on Carnival is only $10 ($15 in the Steakhouse). You only pay it if you take your bottle to the dining room (and the waiter "remembers" to charge it). You can consume it anywhere else corkage free.

jay c Posted May 28, 2013 #6 Share Posted May 28, 2013 You and any adult carry on the wine-one bottle each. Pack the respective wine glasses so as not to break. Carry your filled glasses to dinner. Consume the glass. Bring your glass back to cabin. Wash and rinse for another day.:)
kris12 Posted May 28, 2013 #7 Share Posted May 28, 2013 Why pack glasses? The cabin steward has always brought us glasses when we asked. And a corkscrew as well.
dougandmo Posted May 29, 2013 #8 Share Posted May 29, 2013 I bring my own corkscrew but never had an issue with glasses. If the cabin steward doesn't put some in there for us I just ask for two glasses at a bar. I've never had a problem with that.
