Getting there via Carnival Glory in August. Is there a beach in Halifax or Saint John? Would love to lounge on one while at the port.

Getting there via Carnival Glory in August. Is there a beach in Halifax or Saint John? Would love to lounge on one while at the port.

 

In Saint John the water of the Bay of Fundy is very cold - consequently the beach itself can be quite a bit cooler than inland. Rockwood Park has some nice supervised beaches and warm lake water at Fisher Lakes - 5 min cab ride.

In Halifax you could walk to Point Pleasant Park which has a beach. The water will be cold, but the park is lovely.
