Oranjestad Excursion/Ship Time question

We will be doing the "Discover Scuba" excursion when we are in Oranjestad this coming October on the AOS. Since we should be done with the scuba dive by 1pm or so (?) Can we go back on the ship, change into dry clothes and go back to Oranjestad for the rest of the day and explore?

 

Does the ship use tenders or is it docked?

Docked I think -- and also doesn't sail until 1 a.m. so you will have loads of time (we are on AOS on Aug 21) to change and go back out
