the_journeyman Posted May 29, 2013 #1 Share Posted May 29, 2013 I'm thinking about doing a lunchtime pub craw in our short stop next month. What are some good pubs or bars that would be open for lunch? Is there an absolute "don't miss" place? I've heard of Sharkeez and Señor Frogs, so I'll try to hit those, are there others? We sail at 2PM, so I won't have time for many. Thanks JM
crissybean Posted June 30, 2013 #2 Share Posted June 30, 2013 I am looking for the same. Since I'm assuming you were there already this month, did you find anywhere near the port that is a little more "local" than all the big touristy places? Or anywhere that you really enjoyed? Thanks JM There's a few places that you can hit that are less touristy. Casablanca is a little dive bar on the left just before Senor Frogs. There's also a new little spot right next to Senor Frogs.. forgot the name. (North Something or something North). there's also Olive's med café in the International plaza (outdoor café) or Lums Iguana / Upstairs in the Prince George Plaza (outdoor seating overlooking bay street). And the Hilton has a nice patio bar that is open to the public. (use of the facilities is by day pass, so you can't use the pool/beach or chaises without a pass). Patio grill has bar stools, tables and chairs and a great view of the harbout.
