Gambling lessons?

Does all or any of the Carnival ships offer gambling lessons for free? I love to Gamble but am very uncomfortable with the table games and was hoping to get some lessons on the ship. This is our second cruise and been to Vegas 3 times and can't win anything on those darn slot machines (althougth I do love them).

I would suggest buying a Hoyle Casino PC game. It has all sorts of table games with guides as to betting, rules and such. It also has Video Poker and Slots. You can play right at home with your shirt off.

Also a decent bookstore or even a library will have a book on Casino Gaming.

Hawaii has no gambling, and I've never been to Vegas but learned how to play Craps, mostly thru cruising. You go into a casino and there's one area of the room where everyone is shouting, rooting, and carrying on. It's the Craps table. It's a thrill to have a bunch of people around you, rooting for you. It's not hard to learn the basics, and the casino staff will be helpful for Newbies. Just go up to a craps table and lay down a $100 bill. They'll quickly give you a stack of $5 chips and you'll be on your way.
