Growler5010 Posted June 8, 2013 #2 Share Posted June 8, 2013 If it's tobacco for a pipe they don't sell it (much to hubby's annoyance). Can't say how much cigarette tobacco is I'm afraid as I've never priced it.
zijlweg Posted June 8, 2013 #3 Share Posted June 8, 2013 It all depends what itinerary is involved. If any of the ports is outside de EU, duty free shops onboard will be opened and prices will be more than 50% lower than the UK. So if Turkey, Gibraltar, Morocco etc. are on the program you will be lucky. Most ports in Greece will have very cheap duty free stores, much cheaper as onboard. qm2lover Posted June 8, 2013 #4 Share Posted June 8, 2013 Please remember that if you buy duty free (on the ship or in a duty free shop) you are only allowed to bring back 200 cigarettes or 250 gms of tobacco per person. If you buy Duty Paid from an EU country (not the Canaries nor Gib) you can bring make much more for personal use, but keep your receipts to show Southampton Customs if they ask for them
