Horseback Riding Tours

We will be in Puerto Limon in December on the Equinox and were looking at 2.5 hour horse riding options. I've searched trip advisor and they list Caribe Horse Riding Club as #1 activity and Playa Chiquita as the #4. There is little to no info on this forum regarding either. Prices are comparable for 2.5 hours beach/jungle rides and both appear to be in the Puerto Viejo area. Curious if anyone has had experiences with either?

Have you inquired on the forum at Trip Advisor? I've found the participants there to be very helpful and informative ... particularly with the land based matters.
