Parasailing in Cozumel, any ideas?

Recommended Posts

I've been trolling around for some ways to pass the time in Cozumel, as it appears the Tulum ruins excursion is not available on my itinerary for some reason.

So, we'd like to maybe do some hanging out at a beach (was very interested in the playa mia thread earlier) and I notice that while many of the "beach clubs" have parasailing it seems expensive.

I parasailed years ago in Mazatlan and I think I paid $30 to a vendor on the beach, but it wasn't through the beach club. Other vendors at least online are asking for upwards of $50pp to go parasailing for 15 minutes.

Anyone have any ideas on where to parasail AND get a nice beach experience (we'd love a buffet and open bar). We aren't much interested in wave runners and other things like that.

Thanks in advance.
