pbsteve Posted June 13, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 13, 2013 So last year, I cancelled a cruise, and got 400 in credit to the next cruise. Of course I forgot to use it on my upcoming cruise, and don't need 400 in OBC, since price drops have netted me enough for Cheers for us both, and I don't buy anything but drinks anyway. Does anyone know if I can use that credit for a deposit on another cruise, or do I have to pay the deposit, and then have them apply the credit. I was planning on using it for a cruise that will only be about 500 and some change total, and of course the deposit is 200, so 100 would be wasted. This is a case where I would call, and if it isn't normally allowed, attempt to be as charming and persuasive as possible.
GROUCHPUSS Posted June 13, 2013 #3 Share Posted June 13, 2013 I would take the OBC, then go the casino and put in a machine make a couple of spins then the next day cash out my player bank.

You sir are very wise, but that would just lead me to having to then deposit it back in the bank and pay for the whole cruise out of the bank. Just want to save that step i suppose, and also not have the wife know that I got us another cruise, just want to suprise her. I can hide 150-200 to carnival as something related to this cruise, but another 500, that would be tough to hide.
GROUCHPUSS Posted June 13, 2013 #5 Share Posted June 13, 2013 Also wait and make the deposit on the ship so you can get the OBC for your next cruise!
