BOS Mediterranean - Balcony????

Recommended Posts

I know a balcony is not really necessary but my wife insists.

Category D2 is 204' on deck 9 and Category E2 is 179' on deck 8.

Am I correct that the extra 25sq. feet is not worth the extra $150pp.

That pays for a nice shore excursion right there, martyap.

We've been on the Splendour's 7 night Med cruise, and we're going back on a 12 night Brilliance this October. I got an inside cabin this time, because we just didn't spend enough time in the cabin for a balcony or window to matter much.

Personal preference, though, but I think the $$ is better spent on a nice tour.

I would never sail without a balcony. I'm one of those people who like to see where I'm going, where I am, and where I've been, and always have a camera in hand. I enjoy my morning cup of coffee on my veranda and a nice glass of wine before dinner. I love to take a good book and sit out ther and read and listen to the sound of the surf. I'm with your wife, it's worth every penny to me (and more!).
