sammy62569 Posted June 24, 2005 #1 Share Posted June 24, 2005 We are going to be in GC on the Mariner on 10/28. I have booked the Rays, Reef and Rum Point tour with Nativeway. There email confirmation says the tour leaves at 9 am (Central time) which is 10 am ships time. We get there at 9am ships time so that won't be a problem. However, the tour gets back at 3:15 Central time which is 4:15 ships time. The ship leaves at 5pm. Is that cutting it too close? What time is the last tender? Is the Nativeway office right at the pier? Is the 3:15 time when we get off the boat and then we have to be bused to the pier. HELP! Any advice is appreciated. kmej Posted July 3, 2005 #2 Share Posted July 3, 2005 You will be fine. We just did this tour last Wednesday (on the Navigator) and had no problems. It only takes a few minutes to get back to the ship. Buy a cheap waterproof watch (Wal-Mart for $7). Keep it on ship's time, don't switch it over to Central time. You can shave 10 minutes off either the Rays or the Reef or Rum Point, if you get nervous. Just tell your guides what time you want to be back at the pier. They will do whatever you want and are very understanding about getting back in time. You should ask if you can have Sheldon and Everton as guides. They were fantastic and lots of fun. Enjoy planning your trip! :)
