ssb Posted June 16, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted June 16, 2013 This is correct, but after mid Jan 2014 Disney is pulling out of Galveston for good. For good ? Never say never! Not in the cruise industry! Galveston is here to stay in the cruising industry with Galveston on the doormat of the Gulf of Mexico. And with the infrastructure improvements presently being made to terminal for RCL, And at the port. In any event Galveston is here to stay. The verdict is still out on Bayport, with them having to buy the business. How long will that last? Even if Bayport survives it will be a win win situation for Galveston and Bayport mutually benefiting one another in the long run for the greater benefit of southeast Texas cruising.
