ParkerIngle Posted June 15, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 15, 2013 Going on Oasis for first time in August!!! 2 questions: -in planning dinner and show reservations, how long should I plan to be able to walk from one end of the ship to the other? -How long does the dinner at 150 Central Park last? I'm trying to figure out what show time will work in relation to dinner there. Thanks!!

This assumes you can do a couple of flights of stairs, should you need to.

If it is the two of you only for dinner at 150 Central Park I would allow at the very minimum 2 hours for the dinner. It has taken my husband and I longer. It is a dining experience. If dinner is say 7pm you should be okay for the 1030 show. We have dined at 150 Central Park a few times on both Oasis and Allure. One of my favorite dining venues on Oasis class. (unless you are elderly or disabled). GREAT ship. Love the Allure and Oasis. So far, our favorite ships.....:o
Travrat Posted June 15, 2013 #5 Share Posted June 15, 2013 You should allow at least 2 hours for dinner and make sure you arrive at the theater at least 15 minutes before show time to get a decent seat
OCruisers Posted June 15, 2013 #6 Share Posted June 15, 2013 We were at 150 Park for dinner about 3 hours ... but we weren't in a hurry and did have pre-dinner drinks & sort of lingered longer. Don't miss going to 150 Park Avenue! :) LuLu ~~~~
Rare S.A.M.J.R. Posted June 15, 2013 #7 Share Posted June 15, 2013 We just got off Oasis. From the dining room to the theater can easily be done in 10 minutes. If there's something going on in the Promenade making it crowded, simply go through the Casino on Deck 4. If you're using MTD, you'll probably be leaving the dining room on Deck 5. You'll need to get to deck 4 for entrance to the Opal theater. We had no problems making 8:30 shows with 6:30 reservations in the MTD or Giovanni's. We made an 8:30 show with a 6:00 reservation at 150 Central Park. We weren't rushed through it either. You can show up a few minutes before your dining reservation and they'll seat you. warm47 Posted June 15, 2013 #8 Share Posted June 15, 2013 From the main seating in the MSR we never had trouble getting to the first show after dinner. That included bathroom breaks along the way. :)
Priusprof Posted June 15, 2013 #9 Share Posted June 15, 2013 Just off Oasis last week and 2 hours is pretty standard for dinner. We booked all 10:30 shows and had no problem. There are 2 menu's for 150 Central. The first menu is served Saturday-Tuesday and the second menu is Wednesday-Friday. An important thing to remember is that 15 minutes prior to showtime they release the theater for general non reservation seating. People routinely show up 30 minutes or more ahead of time for the best seats.
