Singapore Hotel--Traders vs Royal Plaza on Scotts

Hi...We will finish a cruise next April, and would like opinions of these two hotels....Traders (part of the Shangri-La chain) and the Royal Plaza on Scotts. We will be there for seveeral days before heading home....and appreciate your feedback!

I have stayed at Traders many times in the past and I like the location at the top of Orchard Rd. more than being on Scotts Rd. Rooms are on the small side, but efficient and nice pool.

Any comments about the Regent Singapore (Four Seasons property)? Thanks

Have also stayed at Regent. Very peaceful and quiet compared to Traders which has more energy. Regent 5 star; Traders would be 4. Regent just a block off the main drag.
