brammers Posted June 17, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 17, 2013 Hi, does anyone have experience of dining in Sindu and Seventeen? Are they worth paying the cover charge for? Can you only book when you board the ship, or can you book beforehand? Thanks in advance! :)
susie.t Posted June 17, 2013 #2 Share Posted June 17, 2013 Hi Yes these restaurants are well worth it - as is The Glass House. You dont have to book the GH. The Glass House does a taster meal - which I think is about £25 pp with wine - you will need to book that but it is well worth it. try a wine flight too - recommend " Exotic Whites" Sindhu also go for the Nashta on sea days about £3.90 for 3 small dishes. Would recommend the soft shell crab; Rogan Josh and Sea Bass 17 - go for the Lobster tail cocktail and Chateau Briande (?!) Its a small service charge for wonderful food and I think that if you dont go then you will miss out so much. There will be a cookery demo so if you are unsure go to that coz after that you will be booking!!

susie.t Posted June 17, 2013 #4 Share Posted June 17, 2013 Hi there no you have to book when you are on board. Don't leave it to the last minute though as you wont get in. I really do encourage you to go to these venues at least once on your trip. With The Glass House - you don't normally book but with the taster meal you will have too but these get booked really quickly Try to book in on your first day Also as a bar recommend go to The Planet Bar - esp. when they show Africa. Service can be a bit slow but it is well worth it.
