Goff's Key or Caye Caulker????

We did Goff's Caye right through Carnival and it was excellent. The boat picked us right up at the ship and then we rode for approximately 20 minutes or so. Goff's Caye is a small island but very beautiful. Snorkeling was nice but to us, not as nice as Chankaab in Cozumel. Plenty of time to relax as well if you didn't want to snorkel. The tour left either morning or afternoon. We did the am tour and were back on the ship by 12:30 or so...enough time to shower, haVe lunch and then tender into town. It was the best of all worlds for us but would do the River Wallace Al Tun ruin tour next time. Heard that was excellent!

The Caye Caulker tour through Carnival is longer and know there are a couple of independent tour operators that do this tour. Just be advised that you'll have to get a tender ticket to pick up your independent tour...on our Glory 4.9 cruise, I know people not on Carnival tours had to wait quite a while to get a tender into the village area.

for what it is worth do not let the ships threat of not getting you to your excursion because you did not want to pay a premium price for a cattle car excursion worry you. Book it on your own. Enjoy!
