Hi Everyone-I would like to book the St. John Champagne Catamaran Sailing when we are on our cruise on the Liberty in August. We have 6 people going. Are there any advantages to booking ahead or am I just as well off waiting and booking onboard? Thanks for any advice!

We did this when on VALOR and had a really great time! As for any advantage I believe that the rate is a few bucks cheaper in advance.

This is a fantastic excursion! We loved it and recommend it 100%!!!! It may fill up so I would book as soon as I knew it was something i wanted to do.:)

We were on this excursion in January and had a great time. The guides were awesome and we booked ahead to get the time slot we wanted.

As I recall the water was around 30 feet deep with one area that had a very deep and dark shelf drop off.

And the tour operators will tell you that the salt water makes you float even if you can't swim. Don't believe it. I sank like a rock and almost met my maker.

 

They do have a small skiff that they will take you ashore if you don't want to or can't swim. I wish I would have taken it.

Do it! We just did it the week before last and it was great. I would book now if you know you want to do it. I'd worry about it selling out, especially since there are 6 of you.
