The new Courtyard in galveston ?

Dh and i are driving from oklahoma to galveston the day before our cruise on the magic 1-26-14.... Found a fairly new hotel the courtyard galveston island gulf port. Ive read some amazing reviews. Has anyone stayed here yet? .. I know its on the other side of the island from carnivals home dock, but we dont mind because we plan to drive to port and park across the street in indoor parking at park n cruise... if you guys are looking this might be a good lnew option!

Saw it for first time the other day

Looks nice

Only drawback I believe is no beach across street

Rocks and Seawall at that area

But not far to where is beach

Don't mind the no beach don't plan to go to the beach when we get there that night I just like that its new
