Arcade games on Gem

I know the Gem has a video arcade on the ship. On our last cruise on RCCL my mom enjoyed the classic Ms. Pac-Man and Galaga games they had there, as well as the air hockey table. Does anyone know what games the Gem has? Just curious if they're all "modern" games like racing and dancing games, or if there are some classic arcade games in the mix as well.

I noticed they did have air hockey but I did not notice the other video game options.

Stop by the video arcade and capture a few aliens, win a car race, play

pinball and fly a jet fighter. Anything is possible.

Having been on many NCL ships, the arcade almost always has the new racing/shooting type games. Never see the 'old' good arcade games.

We are taking the grand kids in 2 weeks so I was also curious about the arcade since I'm sure they will want to try it out....do they pay for the games on their sea pass card or do the games take bills or tokens like a regular arcade?

You swipe your card in each game & are charged to your onboard account (I believe most were $1.50 per game). Careful, charges add up fast.

 

I did not see any "old school" games, all newer racing & shooting type games. They did have air hockey & 1 or 2 of the games that you try to maneuver the claw to grab a prize.
