Dizney Posted January 16, 2014 #26 Share Posted January 16, 2014 A TA attempted to do this last year in the Solstice repo cruise from Ensenada to Seattle and it was a complete waste. Not enough people signed up to make it viable. From memory those that booked under this program were given onboard credit, a meal in specialty restaurant, vouchers for samples at several stops along the way as compensation for the failure of the TA promoting the event to deliver. I would not worry about a large group being on board. A dozen or two at the most. I wouldn't say it was a complete failure. Poor promotion of a first year attempt. We booked that cruise and we liked it enough to give them another chance on this one.
Dizney Posted January 20, 2014 #27 Share Posted January 20, 2014 A few years ago, Portland, Oregon had the most mini breweries of any city in the world. I wonder it that is still true today. Oregon ranks 2nd in breweries per capita at 18.3 breweries per 500,000 people. http://www.newyorker.com/sandbox/business/beer.html?mobify=
