Taxis in St. Thomas

Can any of the ST taxis take 5 passengers?

 

Also, if taking a taxi from Sapphire Beach back to Havensight port, any idea how much a detour to Paradise Point would add to the cab fare pp? I understand the a taxi from Sapphire to port is about $10-11/pp. Just wondering how much more the detour to Paradise Point might add.

 

I've read that Paradise Point is closed for renovations. Is is still possible and worthwhile to drive up for the view?

The majority of the taxis are open bed trucks that are converted and can hold 10-15 people depending on how many the driver decides to cram in.

 

Don't know what it would cost to drive to the top of paradise point.
