NCL cot for 3 yr old?

My family is traveling in December on the Gem. My husband, I and our single son are in a mini-suite with out oldest son, his wife and our grandson in an inside across the hall. Will there be room in the inside cabin for a cot of sorts? 3 years old isn't old enough for the bed that folds down from the ceiling.

What have others done?

Thanks,

Kim

Most three-year olds love the drop down bed. We had our grandson on a cruise in March and he loved his bunk! There is a railing so everyone felt fine with it. If worried some people request extra pillows to put next to the rail.
