MariahJ Posted July 11, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 11, 2013 Hello All, My family and I are considering this itinerary next June 24. Our last 3 cruises have been Disney and our DD (almost 4 by next year) absolutely loves Disney, but they don't cruise the Baltics. Will this be a good option for her? It looks like there is more to do on this ship than other non-Disney ships, but I still worry about her being bored. Thanks, Mariah Day 1 Tue June 24 Southampton Depart 4:30 pm Day 2 Wed June 25 At Sea Day 3 Thu June 26 Oslo Arrive 10:00 am Depart 5:00 pm Day 4 Fri June 27 Copenhagen Arrive 9:30 am Depart 5:00 pm Day 5 Sat June 28 At Sea Day 6 Sun June 29 Tallinn Arrive 10:00 am Depart 5:00 pm Day 7 Mon June 30 Saint Petersburg Arrive 8:00 am Day 8 Tue July 1 Saint Petersburg Depart 6:00 pm Day 9 Wed July 2 Helsinki Arrive 8:00 am Depart 5:00 pm Day 10 Thu July 3 At Sea Day 11 Fri July 4 At Sea Day 12 Sat July 5 Zeebrugge Arrive 8:00 am Depart 4:30 pm Day 13 Sun July 6 Southampton Arrive 5:30 am
KreiderCarter Posted July 11, 2013 #2 Share Posted July 11, 2013 I guess it really depends on the kid. We've been to every port on that itinerary with the exception of Zeebrugge. Baltics crusies seem more designed for sightseeing than entertaining excursions--and likely not sights that hold the interest of an average 4 yr old. We don't have any children ourselves and that was an "older" cruise very few children--probably the least amount of kids of any cruise we have been on. She still should be plenty of entertained on board but on land that may be an entirely different matter.
MariahJ Posted July 11, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted July 11, 2013 Thanks. I wonder if we would be better off just doing the Disney Greek Isles and Turkey cruise, even though we've already been to half the ports on our Med cruise.
