Cruise Cash Question

I received an E-Gift card that I was considering using to just by Cruise Cash, so it would be one less thing to remember to print and take with me on the ship... Then I started reading threads about how cruise cash is "use it or lose it".

 

My question is if I buy $100 bucks of cruise cash, and then add $500 CASH when I get onboard, does anyone know how charges are pulled from OBC accounts? Will it take the Cruise Cash first and then dip into my actual cash account? Does this make any sense??? :confused:

From what I have read on previous post they use your Cruise Cash first then whatever other OBC you have.

That is correct. They will use up the full amount of the Cruise Cash and if there are any additional charges, they will then pull from your cash or credit card depending on how you set up your S & S account.
