bowen9475 Posted July 19, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 19, 2013 Is the Early Saver rate the only one under which you can get money back or OBC if the price drops? If we book under a different rate, such as the current sale, what happens if the price goes lower later on?
ccruisequeen Posted July 19, 2013 #2 Share Posted July 19, 2013 You can get price drops until final payment with any rate. You can only get OBC after final payment with ES.

I thought once you made your final payment, you were locked in and could no longer get any other price reductions. So if I see any price drops I can still get an OBC for my trip? That's how people get some OBC Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app

As long as whatever you booked under is refundable up to final payment date then yes you can. Reason being that if your money is refundable, you could just cancel and rebook. So they just give you the reduced rate. If you ask for it. Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app
ccruisequeen Posted July 25, 2013 #6 Share Posted July 25, 2013 My rate has dropped $30 this week but is still $30 above my final payment. Maybe next week I can start getting some OBC
