Hotels in Tampa

We are booked on an "wedding" cruise on Dec 15th on the Insperation from Tampa. Does anyone have any idea of what hotels we should stay at the night before. All our kids are coming so cost is a factor.

In February we had the downtown Hyatt from Priceline for $50 per night.

Excellent, upscale property. It may take a few attempts and it's probably way too early for best deal. Bid downtown and THREE stars.

Go to the pre and post cruise hotels board. There is a thread there on Tampa hotels that is several pages long.

Marriott waterside is awesome, but may be a bit over budget. There is a Quorom in downtown that I have heard great thinsg about. Also, there is an Embassy Suites near the airport.

Use www.priceline.com- We are staying at the Marriott for $45 a night thru priceline. If you have never used Priceline, Try the cheat sheet that tells you what people have bid so you can use that as a comparison- www.biddingfortavel.com-- I use this for almost every vacation and have not been disappointed one time!
