Been informed changed from st rapheal to toulon anyone been there

We enjoyed Toulon. A must is the cable car giving you fantastic views plus a little bar on top for a welcome drink. Its so cheap and you can get an all in one ticket from the tourist office with bus travel included.

toulon....lovely....absolutely lovely....the beach.....lovely beach with little lagoons very safe for swimming

 

the town, full of the beautiful people....even the children are scrubbed up and beautiful....I found it expensive tho (eating out/shopping etc)

several blue flag beaches to swim in approx 1/2hr walk or short mini train ride from port - would return here

We loved it too.

 

The tourist office is just to the right as you enter the market square.

They will phone up and check if the cable car is running before they sell you the combined ticket, it's a lot cheaper getting this ticket than doing it separate.

Lovely place Toulon.We did the mini train ride from port,its a hop on hop off.Takes you around the town,along the sea front,beach and the centre.You can get off at the centre and walk back to the ship

The half day trip to Cassis is lovely too.

There is a fantastic market in the town centre too. Don't know if it's on every day but both times we were there it was.

We also should go to St Rapheal on the 12th September. Not heard if this will be a change for us. If so Sister maybe disappointed as she had plans to go to Monte Carlo. I like the sound of the cable car trip at Toulon. C'est la vie

I totally agree, the trip to Cassis is a great 1/2 day trip. We really enjoyed it. The 1/2 day trip allowed for time to explore Toulon on return. Enjoy :)
