Shrimp?

That would be the day Carnival served gulf shrimp and not the "farm" raised shrimp from Thailand and Viet Nam they now serve. These farmed shrimp have been examined by the State of Alabama laboratories and have been shown to contain high concentrations of antibiotics.

I used to enjoy the seafood on all the major lines but now that most of the seafood is farm raised I've stopped ordering it.

I'm think that day must have been on some other cruise line.

The last 2 times we cruised Carnival the shrimp were poorly prepared. We are fortunate to live at the beach in Florida. We have access to fresh shrimp and over a few decades prepared quite a few hundred pounds of shrimp. The ones served on the cruise had a watery and mushy texture and tasted like they had been cooked, frozen, thawed and sat in a tub of water before serving. A very sad way to prepare what should have been a special culinary treat.

Cheers!

I highly agree.
