NYGirl1002 Posted July 31, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2013 Has anybody gone to it? Where would I go to make a reservation. I did it on the Jewel and the concierge made my reservation. This time I'm not in a suite. If you did it do you know what day it is? Thanks in advance.
Coastalbreezes Posted July 31, 2013 #2 Share Posted July 31, 2013 Once you board, there will be someone taking dinner reservations. You can make your Chef Table reservations there. I don't recall which night it was, sorry. Will be sailing with my son in September and he wants to try it. Tracy

time2cruise1 Posted July 31, 2013 #5 Share Posted July 31, 2013 How does the Chef's Table work? Is it one big table with a certain amount of seats? Yes it is and usually restricted to around 16 seats.
SliceOfLife Posted July 31, 2013 #6 Share Posted July 31, 2013 Yes it is and usually restricted to around 16 seats. The Breakaway only seats 12. You go to the Restaurat Reservation desk to make the reservation and you can see the full menu. You can see the info in the dailies I posted in my signature. judithdooley Posted July 31, 2013 #7 Share Posted July 31, 2013 Just got off the Breakaway on Sunday. The Chef's table was on Thursday in the Haven restaurant. Only 12 people. If you want to go you must book as soon as you get on at the dinner reservations desk as it fills up quickly. It was one of the best times I had on the cruise. $89 per person and includes the wine. Gypsy2 Posted August 1, 2013 #9 Share Posted August 1, 2013 On Princess we needed close toed shoes, is it the same on NCL?
rvsullivan Posted August 1, 2013 #10 Share Posted August 1, 2013 Limited to 12 people on all NCL ships. At time if there are enough for 2 groups they might do a second night, not always though, it's a lot of work and coordination to put one on. Resort casual is the dress code, about the same as the big MDR and Le Bistro. It also include a behind the scenes tour with the Executive Chef before the end of the cruise.
