4.5 hr VS 6.5 hr Glacier Trek?

My wife and I are going to Alaska on the Spirit in a couple months, and are considering our options regarding the Glacier Trek excursion in Juneau. Has anyone ever gone on the 4.5 hour one? How about the 6.5 hour one? Will we miss out if we don't go on the longer trip? Or will we be dead tired if we do? :D

We're both in our mid-to-late 20s and in decent shape. Anybody have an opinion either way?

i booked northstar's "x-trek" for august 16, 2005 after reading the descriptions of both tours on their website. i figured if 2 hours on a glacier is good, 4 hrs is better. i couldn't pass up the opportunity to use crampons, ice picks. to climb a glacier. my wife and my cousin are doing the regular trek, 2 hours on the glacier. i know if i booked the regular trek, i'd always wonder what i was missing. plus the oppurtunity to do irreparable harm to myself.
