Can on board ship credit be used for gratuities? What are some ways you have used it besides tours?

Hi Crazy4cruisin !

Yes, it can be used for Gratuities. It can be used for most everything on the ship too ! Some other things that come to mind..... gift shop purchases, shore excursions, drinks at the bar, spa treatments, internet usage, acupuncture, computer lessons... the list goes on and on.

To be sure, you will have no problems using up the credit :)

Enjoy your Cruise !

The credit isn't taken against a particular item -- it is simply applied as a $ credit against your outstanding balance for your "sign and sail' card for charges during the cruise, so it effectively applies to anything you charge during the cruise -- gratuities can be charged that way, so in essence, yes.
