Toddcan Posted August 8, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 8, 2013 (edited) I'm thinking of Dolphin Cove when we cruise to Falmouth in March 2014. But, the ship's excursions do not list any Dolphin type excursions. Dolphin Cove says I have to book through Royal Caribbean. I chatted online with a Dolphin Cove rep, and here is how it went... Me: We are arriving on a Royal Caribbean ship, but I do not see any Dolphin excursions available on the ship. Do I book with you directly? Dolphin Cove 1: NO Dolphin Cove 1: PLEASE BOOK WITH ROYAL CARIBBEAN.. ME:→there is no excursion to your park with Royal Caribbean Dolphin Cove 1: THE SPACES ARE ALLOTTED FOR THEM Me:→I am looking at the excursions now - Dolphins do not show up Dolphin Cove 1: WHICH DATE SORRY? Me:→March 13, 2014 Me:→Liberty of the Seas Dolphin Cove 1: OK I WAS TOLD THAT YOU CAN PURCHASE ADMISSION ON THE SHIP AND WHEN U GET TO DOLPHIN COVE WE CAN UPGRADE YOU TO ANY PROGRAM. Dolphin Cove 1: BUT WE CAN NOT BOOK U DIRECTLY BECAUSE THE MOST OF SPACES ARE ONLY AVAILABLE FOR CRUISE SHIP GUEST WHICH YOU CAN ONLY GET FROM THE CRUISE So... uh, how do I book it if it's not showing up as an excursion on the ship? Anyone experience this? Edited August 8, 2013 by Toddcan

Anyone experience this? From what I understand they have some arrangement with the cruise line. Contact them again saying you are staying on the island I am sure you will get Welcome to dah cove mon:D Don't mention that you are a cruise passenger. Simply book the excursion online, it's done all the time viator dot com Edited August 8, 2013 by Blk_Amish

Joie Posted November 1, 2013 #4 Share Posted November 1, 2013 That's like I tried to book my 2 granddaughters there and was told had to do it thru Carnival....then with Carnival I had to buy 4 tickets at $159 each....because they HAVE to have a full paying guest go with.....excuse me I do not want to swim with the dolphins but can't let the girls go by themselves....don't you offere a park entrance ticket I see at half the price.....they said can't use that....got to book the full excursion. So I gave up and book in the Caymans and they said on the ship we can get transportation for parents at about $30 each to go with..... They make it a pain in Jamaica to book it.
