How does the kids club work on the Epic?

Hi all,

 

We are sailing on the Epic in a few months. First time on NCL as we've oly done RCL.

How does the kids club work on the Epic, meaning the activity schedule and the signing in and out? Is it similar to Adventure Ocean where they have a morning session, afternoon session and evening session? Any other differences between the 2 clubs?

We sailed aboard the Epic in November 2012. Jersey Week (first week of November)

 

The Epic had just gotten back from a trans-Atlantic sailing and the crew was in a state of flux. The previous, Spanish-speaking/Mediterranean-centric crew were leaving after our sailing and a new "American"-centric crew was going to replace them.

 

That being said, my kids didn't enjoy the kids club on the Epic. I think that maybe the Mediterranean cruises didn't host a lot of kids, so the 300-or so kids on the first Caribbean cruise was overwhelming for the Mediterranean staff.

 

Check-in and Check-out was chaotic. Unfortunately, my kids didn't really want to utilize those facilities. I don't think it was the norm that week. Kids still had a good time hanging with our friends' kids that came along that week.
