Island Princess Panama Canal Transit 16th April 2014 - we have just booked for this cruise, our first ever, anyone else planning on going? Been reading reviews of shore excursions but any advice welcome! :)

You might want to check out the roll calls for that sailing. Go back to the main page that lists all the sections of CC and look for the roll call section, for the Island Princess, and then scroll down til you find the sailing date.

 

Also check out the destinations boards for the Panama area.

 

Something I do before every cruise is to go on the Princess website and explore it for great info. There will be deck plans for the Island (we were on it for the 2005/6 holiday cruise to Hawaii). I also google each port and read the info that I can find -- most ports seem to have an official website and maps you can print.

Great cruise on a lovely smaller ship. Do check your roll call. You will find lots of info on tours and other activities with people on that cruise.
